Life Child Initiatives (LICHI) is a Community Based non-governmental Organization established in January 2002 by a group of volunteers devoting their time and resources to respond to the needs of vulnerable children, especially orphans in Uganda.

LICHI is registered as a non-governmental, non-profit-making charitable organization in Uganda under registration certificate number S.5914/4709. LICHI is permitted to carry out any operations that are in the interests of promoting the objectives of this organization which are in turn related to uplifting the well-being of the children LICHI support.
